Where'd we go?

I'm glad Andy fixed this site. Even though we never post anymore, I like to go back and read this stuff a time and again.

I'm sad to see Furyouhin gone and her website has a final message. Even the archives were removed.
Fury, if you still read, please know that I will miss you and your writings. Not having your blog to read anymore is like not finishing a well written novel. I'll wonder how you are and I wish you well.

It was through Gods and Ghosts that I found Andy's site and in turn found the rest of this group.

I'd like to see us posting more....I just think we just need to find a common theme to post about.

Can anyone think of one thing we all have in common that we could regularly post about?

Bloody Fireworks...

sooooooo lets’s say you’ve been hanging out with co-workers… co-workers that have been upgraded to “friends” recently… and you totally enjoy spending time with them because they’re funny and smart and make you laugh… and happy hour on Friday has turned into a habit… one that you’d like to continue…

Lets say that one of them is a man… and he sorta has a crush on you (like a big crush)… and you’re flirty by nature… but you’ve never said anything that would lead him on… you’ve only been yourself (you can’t help it if you’re demented and perverted)

Now let’s say you went out with them and had a little too much to drink… and so your one friend thought it would be funny to drunk text message the male friend (who had left us reluctantly to go do something else) nude pictures of herself (when she knows full well that he has a crush on her too) and then let’s say he sends us a… ahem… nude text message of his own…

And then your friend wants to go follow him… and you meet up… and hang out… and continue to drink too much… and you find out that his “type” is a pretty accurate description of YOU…

And then it’s late and he’s walking you to your car… and you go in for a hug… and he kisses you… and it’s not like a “you’re my friend and I’m just saying good-bye with a quick closed mouth peck” kiss… it’s… it’s… something else… but part of you wants to think you’re just imagining the “something else” and it really was just a friendly kiss good night… (you don't kiss him back but it happens so quickly that you can't really get out of it… and you've seen him kiss other friends good bye… so you don't make a big deal of it at the time)

But yea

I’ve been feeling soooo guilty about it… and I talked to husband… and he’s ok… because he knows that I would NEVER cheat on him… and I didn't initiate anything… but it still happened

So now I have to find a way to talk to this guy… because I really do like him as a friend… and he’s insecure and has issues that I don’t really want to get into… but I have to know what he meant by it… especially because we’re totally going to that concert (YES… it’s THAT guy) on Friday…

::Sigh:: such DRAMA… and it’s only 10:26 am

and I don’t want to get into “sexual harrasment” issues… because it’s not that… I don’t know what it is right now… but it’s definitely not that (besides… this happened after midnight on Friday) and I have lunch and take my breaks with these people every day… and I’d like that not to change…

I’m not sure why I’m posting this… I’m just trying to figure things out… and maybe get other peoples opinions (maybe something similar has happened to you…) and maybe vent a little…

Anyway… hope everyone is having a kick ass holiday weekend (I’m stuck at work today… cause that's the way the AT&Tizzle rolls)

10 Things I learned in Las Vegas

1. Things are MUCH farther than they appear
2. Penny slots are pointless
3. People are friendly in a town that wants your money so badly so you have to tip practically everyone who so much as smiles at you
4. The "Duece" buses are only $2, but you'd better have an hour to blow
5. Cab fare is outrageous
6. Vegas weddings are not nearly as cheesy as I once thought
7. If you have to pay to get into a pool area, expect nudity
8. It is hotter than you think
9. Eldery people become lushes at 10am
10. It is hard to focus on a work conference when there are some many cool things to do

Well… since no one has updated in a while… I’ll go ahead and post something…

As a few of you know… I got married on May 13… so yay… and then we jetted off to our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic for a week of laying out… drinking… swimming with the dolphins… parasailing… drinking… eating… relaxing… and did I mention drinking…

if you want to see more pictures… check out our kodak easy share gallery here

But it’s been crazy since I got back…

I’ve had to move my stuff into our town house… I’ve been busy (being bored) at work… catching up on bills and other things of that nature…

I had my 2 year anniversary at the AT&Tizzle (June 1)… so yay for um… work… I guess… not really though

I BOUGHT A CAR… yea… well… my parents helped buy me a car… I don’t have a picture of it yet… but it’s a dark blue 2001 Nissan Xterra… and it’s really nice… it only has 33,000 miles on it… (it’s my first car… since I just got my license in May… whatever… SHUT UP)…

I have yet to name my new car… Andrew’s car was dubbed “Max Power” by Lori one night… (it is the name you mustn’t FEAR) and it just stuck…and so HE suggested calling mine “Chesty LaRue” or “Hooty McBoob” and while that’s funny (if you like the simpsons)… my car just doesn’t “feel” like either of those names…

I was considering “Shiva” because we bought her from an Indian family…

But I don’t know… anyone have any good suggestions… I’ve never named a car before…

And since I've been out of it… what else is new in everyones lives…

Apologies

Hello! It's been a very very long time since I last posted here. I have a good excuse though! I've been working on essays for the past month and was trying really hard not to distract myself with every diversion imaginable. I hope everyone is well and I'm looking forward to catching up with all the posts that I've missed. Has anyone else been working on essays or studying for exams or trying to make important deadlines?

After This Life

What do you think happens when you die?

I think we slough off our bodies and return to the Great Spiritual Oneness. Here we feel completely and unconditionally loved, everything is interesting and we can handle being happy. Oh, and there are no egos to get in the way of relating to each other because we all know we are one and the same.
