Can I say Ya'll? I'm from Texas, ya know....the birthplace of "Ya'll".

I also want join K. Larson in saying Happy New Year to everyone, may it be happy, blessed, successful, and creative. Especially to us writers of this blog, of which I'm still not sure of what I'm going to contribute.

Can I have until 2006 to figure it out?

Since it's not in Webster's I'm not really sure how to correctly spell, "Ya'll" That's just how we Texans spell it down here.

I'm going to be pedantic and say it's y'all, since I always learned that the apostrophe takes the place of whatever is omitted in an abbreviation. Why I'm going on and on about this, I'll never know, since Jodi is right: It's not in Webster's, so it's not exactly like there's an exact science to it. :)
